Laura van der Haven
Chair
Hello! My name is Laura, and this year I have the honor of being the chair of the Muziekraad (formerly known as the KOSMU Board). In addition to my work as a PhD student in Educational Sciences, I really enjoy playing the flute in the USKO orchestra, and every now and then I sing a note or two with the altos in the USKO choir. I’m really looking forward to serving as the connecting link between all of Utrecht’s wonderful student music groups this year!

Ans Huizing
Treasurer
Hi! My name is Ans, and this year I’ll be the treasurer of the Muziekraad, handling the finances. I have a little advantage, because as a math major, I really enjoy numbers and organization! I’m also busy working on my master’s thesis, but luckily I find the relaxation I need at USKO, where I love playing the double bass. I’m really looking forward to this year on the board!
Ebba Tabbers
External Affairs
Hi! I’m Ebba, and this year, as the external affairs officer, I’ll be maintaining this website and our social media channels, as well as handling communications with external parties. That means, for example, that I’ll be liaising with other umbrella organizations and advocating for our interests at various administrative levels. Luckily, I really love chatting and meeting new people, so I’m really looking forward to it! I also play the violin and trumpet with the USKO, enjoy knitting and doing crafts, but most of all, I love making up harmonies to the songs on the radio and singing along at the top of my lungs. See you soon at Parnassos!
