The Utrecht Student Chamber Choir is the student chamber choir of Utrecht and consists of thirty singers that study at the UU, HU and HKU. Under the direction of director Fokko Oldenhuis, we perform three times a year with a project where passion, ambition, high quality and fun are combined.
The Utrecht Student Chamber Choir is a choir that never shies away from exciting, new connections. The repertoire spans from Monteverdi to Messian, from Parry to Poulenc and from new, commissioned pieces to the most splendid, contemporary choir music. We rehearse every Tuesday in the cultural centre Parnassos from 20:30 hours to 23:00 hours, and afterwards there are often fun drinks going on in the Parnassos bar.
